Crammed

Terms of Service

Effective September 19, 2026 · applies to crammed.study and the Crammed mobile apps

The short version:

Crammed is free. Study, write cards, import from Quizlet, and export, all at no cost.

Your cards are yours. Export any deck any time, and a set's link never dies.

Use it to study, not to abuse it, and only upload things you have the right to.

It's made by one person and provided as-is. No ads, no selling your data, and if we ever charge, it only adds something new.

Who we are

Crammed is a study app at crammed.study and in the Crammed mobile apps, built and run by a solo developer. "We", "us", and "Crammed" mean that. By using Crammed, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy.

Using Crammed

Your content

Your decks, cards, and uploads are yours. You keep ownership of everything you make. You give Crammed only the permission it needs to run the service: to store your content, sync it to your devices, and, for a deck you choose to share, show it to people who open its link. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

You are responsible for what you create and upload, and you confirm you have the right to use it. Don't upload or share content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or is built to harm others. Documents you upload are processed and then deleted immediately, and are never used to train AI (see the Privacy policy). A deck stays private until you make a share link for it; a shared deck is readable by anyone with the link until you revoke it or delete it.

A set's link is permanent

When you create a set, it gets a public page at a fixed link. That link is permanent: we will not rewrite it or point it somewhere else. Deleting a set removes it from your own library and does nothing else, so a link you shared with your class keeps working. This is a deliberate promise, so that a link you hand someone is one you can trust.

What we promise

These are commitments, not marketing, and they are the reason Crammed exists:

If we ever offer a paid plan, it will add new things people want. It will not wall off anything that was free, and you will see the price before you pay. If any of these commitments ever has to change, the date at the top of this page changes and we say so plainly in the product, rather than burying it.

Payments

Crammed charges nothing today. If a paid plan launches, payments run through Stripe as merchant of record, card details never touch our servers, and the terms and price of any plan will be shown to you before you subscribe.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

We may suspend or remove access that does these things, or that we must act on to follow the law.

Availability, and "as is"

Crammed is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep it reliable, and set links are meant to stay up, but we do not promise the service will always be available or error-free. It is built and maintained by one person.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Crammed is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or lost profits, arising from your use of the service. This does not limit any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending it

You can stop using Crammed at any time and delete your account from inside the app, which removes your data as described in the Privacy policy. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or if we are required to by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top changes, and if a change is material we will say so in the product rather than bury it. Continuing to use Crammed after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
